Lock Down Lifted at UW-Waukesha

UPDATE: 

This afternoon at 3:08pm, officers from the City of Waukesha Police Department responded to a residence in the 2400 block of Sunkist Ave for a wellbeing check of a suicidal subject. 

Due to the close proximity of this residence to the UW-Waukesha campus, the school was placed on a precautionary lockdown.

The incident has since been resolved with no injuries to officers or civilians.  The lockdown at the school has been lifted and normal activity in the area has resumed.

Waukesha Police said it is an isolated incident near the school.
