Local Musicians Raise Money for Band That Fell Victim to Thieves

Music really did bring people together in Milwaukee Wednesday night.

Even though it was a rotten thing that made the gathering possible.

It was learning the plight of  "76 Juliet" that made musicians throughout the area decide to step in and help.

Back on Sunday the band's trailer was stolen.

A lot of valuable was inside.

So on Wednesday, nearly 30 local cover bands from the Milwaukee and Waukesha area banded together to put on a fundraiser.

The magnitude of the gesture was not lost on Dave Wacher of "Blue Light Scene."

"This is literally the State Fair line up that you would see every single year, in one night."

The music started at "Jack Rabbit Slims" on 80th & National around seven and rocked all the way into the next morning.
