Local Man Identified after Drowning in His Submerged Vehicle

The Kenosha County Medical Examiner’s Office has made positive identification of the deceased operator of the vehicle involved in the crash which occurred on Saturday in the Town of Brighton.
A vehicle was found overturned in a pond at that location.
The deceased has been identified as Leonard P. Jagielski a 49 year old resident of the Town of Burlington.
Jagielski was the subject of a missing person report to the Racine County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday.
The Medical Examiner has determined the cause of death at this time of drowning. Toxicology results are pending.
The investigation is continuing.
