JUNEAU, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Downed trees and debris after Thursday's storms don't clean themselves up.
In Juneau, there was no school because the power was out, so a group of students helped their neighbors instead.
Players on the Dodgeland Trojans football team spent Friday morning, May 16, cutting branches, moving tree limbs and checking in on their neighbors.
"The Juneau football team showed up and they really helped," said Linda Bolack, resident of Juneau. "They put a big dent in this mess. So, it was scary and I couldn't sleep night just wondering how I was gonna clean it up and now I know I have friends in this town."
Cleanup in Juneau, Mayville and New Richmond continue into the weekend. Thankfully, power has been restored to all of those areas.
