MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A local choir is back to singing after a three-year pandemic hiatus.
The Harwood Place Choir brought the holiday cheer today during their 'Winter Wonderland' concert.
Let's take a listen.
"Jingle bell rock. Jingle bell chime and jingle bell time."
There are a total of 35 residents that are a part of the Harwood Place Choir.
And if you look right in the center, you will see Ruth Werning.
She is 101 years old and continues to never miss a beat.
Werning also has family in the mix.
Harwood staff tell CBS 58 one of Werning's daughters serves as the choir director and the other is the piano accompanist.
"Today, it's really about bringing everyone together and being able to share in something that they love and just enjoy," said Harwood Place Choir Executive Director Sheri Polczynski.
"Oh the weather outside is frightful. But the fire is so delightful.'
