Local Cheesesteak restaurant celebrates Packers win with cheap cheesesteaks

The Packers earned Wisconsin bragging rights on the field Sunday, beating Philadelphia, but for a local company that wasn't enough.

The owners of Chubby Cheesesteaks wanted to prove Wisconsin was also better in the kitchen, especially when it comes to cheesesteaks.

The offered two dollar cheesesteaks after the Packers won. Cheesesteaks were $4.99 during the game. They're normally $7.99.

\"Milwaukee is not known for cheese steaks,\" said Owner of Chubby Cheesesteaks Mazin Hamdan.

Hamdan is right, but Sunday he set out to change that.

\"We got ranked in the top ten best cheese outside of Philly,\" said Hamdan.

Philadelphia may have invented the cheese steak, but Milwaukee plans on perfecting it.

This is the first time Chubby's did the special. They sold over 600 sandwhiches on Sunday.
