MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Baked Dreams Creations spent the day spreading love to the Milwaukee community.
The local bakery was at Sherman Park on Saturday afternoon -- giving out free cupcakes and free hugs to anyone who showed up.
According to their Facebook, the cupcakes were gobbled up in about two hours!
But if you missed the event, no worries -- the owner of Baked Dreams Creations says she plans to now make this an annual event.
"We just wanted to come out, pass out delicious cupcakes, and also just spread some love in the community, especially in the Sherman Park community," said Tamesha Russell, Owner of Baked Dreams Creations. "We actually were here a few years ago during the Sherman Park unrest so we wanted to come back and make this an annual event, just get out here, be with the community, and spread some love."
