MILWUAKEE (CBS 58) -- The free-to-attend 'A Fringe Fundraiser' will take place on Saturday, April 29 from 1 - 4 p.m. at The Sugar Maple.
Katie Rhyme, representative for the MKE Fringe Festival, was joined by cellist Janet Schiff to discuss the festival on Tuesday, April 25.
Featuring performances by past Fringe artists, including Schiff, the event will also offer raffles, drink specials, and networking opportunities with local artists and art enthusiasts.
Funds raised will cover operational costs for the 2023 festival, scheduled for August 18 - 19 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts.
Schiff also performed a song on the cello, to offer a taste of what to expect at the festival.
