Little girl inspires West Allis to clean up its act

WEST ALLIS-Morgan Zak,9, sent an email to Mayor Dan Deviney telling him that she wanted to help organize a trash pick up around town.

She was motivated while taking walks with her mother and noticed all the litter.

The mayor thought it was a great idea and on Wednesday night a couple dozen people turned up to help.

Morgan's mother who's been in the hospital for ten days battling a serious illness even surprised her daughter and showed up.

Morgan was brought to tears.

\"It really made me feel well,\" Morgan told CS 58 News, \"Because lots of these people are my family and friends and some people I didn't even know and they showed up.\"

Firefighters and police officers joined in.

Even Mayor Devine's children pitched in to help.

No good deed goes unnoticed in West Allis.
