Lisa's Pizza temporarily closing after electrical fire at east side establishment

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A popular restaurant on Milwaukee's east side is recovering after an electrical fire Tuesday night, June 14. 

In a post shared on social media Wednesday, Lisa's Pizza said no one was injured in the fire, but the restaurant itself has structural damage.

Lisa's says they will be closed until the necessary repairs are made. 

They wrote, in part, "Our establishment has been a part of a very large community in Milwaukee, for decades, where you bump into your old neighbor, run into family members, or even come in from out of town, because it's tradition! The nostalgia that our business represents is from such wonderful customers, that have made us their family tradition and for that we are eternally grateful!"

Lisa's says they will share updates as progress is made.
