Lightning strike causes garage fire in Vilas County

VILAS COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Lightning may be to blame for a garage fire that was reported on Friday.
The Vilas County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call reporting that an unattached garage was on fire in the 4800 block of Alder Circle in the Town of Manitowish Waters.
When first responders arrived on scene the garage was fully engulfed.
Initial reports indicate the cause of the fire to be a lightning strike and the garage is considered to be a total loss.
No injuries were reported.
The scene is still under investigation.
