MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee is set to host "Light the Night," a fundraising event aimed at supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Katina Shaw, Vice President of Community Relations for the Milwaukee Brewers, and Arvind Gopalratnam, Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility for the Bucks, joined us on Tuesday, Oct. 3 to discuss the event.
The event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 5 at the Summerfest grounds starting at 5 p.m. CBS 58's own Justin Thompson-Gee will serve as emcee.
Both Shaw and Gopalratnam are volunteers with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and serve as this year's co-corporate walk chairs. They emphasized the importance of community support for those with blood cancers.
More information about the event, including how to participate and donate to the CBS 58 Team, can be found by clicking here.
