Less shopping, more creating for the holidays at crafty workshop courtesy of Two Mikes Art Factory

GREENDALE (CBS 58)--With Halloween in the rear-view mirror, now it's time to get crafty with your holiday gifts. This Sunday, Two Mikes Art Factory is hosting a funday holiday workshop where you create your very own Holiday Art Project of your choice at Serendipity Boutique Marketplace in Greendale. In fact, you can make a few different holiday-themed items. The folks on site can guide you along the way. They actually do all the shopping for you, gather all of the supplies, and set up and clean up. You just need to show up. 

The crafty holiday event will be on Sunday between 11 am and 3 pm. The address is 5602 Broad Street. There will also be complimentary holiday refreshments on hand. Click here for preregistration.

Another art class I wanted to feature is non-holiday related.  (But what you make could count for a nice gift.) It takes place Saturday, November 5th at the Milwaukee Art Therapy Collective at 9224 W. Burleigh Street.  It's all about abstract art.  983 Studio is hosting the event called "Create Something Beautiful." Click here to preregister.
