MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Those with a type of irregular heartbeat called atrial fibrillation, or AFib, are more likely to suffer a stroke.
September marks National AFib Awareness Month, and to help explain more about AFib, key risk factors and how to manage AFib to reduce the risk of stroke, we were joined by Jeremy Monday, Principal of Dousman Elementary School on Wednesday, Sept. 6.
Monday is a survivor of AFib, utilizing technology the size of a credit card that pairs with an app on his phone to help him track heart information along with his physician.
