WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha Police Department has confirmed a male pedestrian died following a person vs. train accident that occurred Wednesday night, Nov. 24.
Waukesha Police Captain of Police Dan Baumann announced in a release Thursday, Nov. 25, that a male pedestrian was hit by a train around 8:54 p.m. Wednesday night at the railroad crossing near Grand Avenue and Williams in Waukesha.
Officials say the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police add that they are working with the Medical Examiner's Office to determine the manner and cause of death as well as positive identification of the decedent.
Reports show there is no indication of criminal activity in this incident.

WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha Fire Department has confirmed a pedestrian vs. train accident Wednesday night, Nov. 24.
There is a large police presence near Grand and Williams and a large freight train is stopped on the tracks.
The train has blocked off several intersections in the city.
Our crew on scene tells us there are about a dozen emergency crews on scene.
