MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Lakefront Brewery hosted a dining event Tuesday night that involved food, beer, and blindfolds.
It was a beer and food pairing event supporting the Vision Forward Association.
The blindfolded tasting consisted of four distinct beers with different foods. After tasting, people were asked to describe the food using their other senses.
"Each pairing was picked specifically to represent a different sense other than sight. So there was one that was focused on the sense of smell, sound -- sound was cheese curds, taste -- a really enhanced taste, and texture," said Leona Knobloch of Vision Forward Association.
The event promotes awareness for those who are visually impaired. It's also a fundraiser for the association.
