Lake Mills 5-Year-Old Briefly Missing after Family Miscommunication

On Wednesday, November 16 at 4:35 PM the Lake Mills Police Department was contacted by a family member who said a 5-year-old family member did not show up at home after school.
When they received the call, police immediately started the missing person's protocol, but the boy was located at a daycare in Lake Mills.
According to police there was a miscommunication on where the child was supposed to be dropped off.
The 5-year-old was never in any danger.
