KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) – The teenager accused of killing two people in August in Kenosha is now facing an additional charge.
According to online court documents, Kyle Rittenhouse now faces a charge of failure to comply with emergency management order of state or local government.
Kenosha County leaders issued an overnight curfew for several days during the unrest. Rittenhouse's offense date was listed as August 25, 2020. It is a citation up to $200, according to state statute.
Rittenhouse will stand trial for the other charges he is facing including first degree reckless homicide and first degree intentional homicide. His next court appearance is scheduled for January 5.
