Kohl's announced 18 under performing stores will be closed as of June 19, according to a release from the company. 

The Kohl's located at 9060 North Green Bay Road in Brown Deer is among the stores that will be closing. 

Kohl's said it conducted a comprehensive review of all of the markets across the country before making the decision. 

On average, Kohl's stores employ approximately 80-100 associates. 

Every eligible store associate will be offered the opportunity to work at a nearby Kohl's or can accept a severance package.
