KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A mural with the word “Kinoje” now covers a wall in downtown Kenosha.
Artist Jaime Brown says it comes from the Ojibwe tribe’s word for “pike”. While that pays tribute to the city’s roots, she also wanted to celebrate the transition taking place in Kenosha.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Christine Flores introduced the artist and creative space that’s hoping to spark a movement.
