Kenosha Police take over the case of two women stuffed in a suitcase

KENOSHA-- Police have now confirmed the identity of the second of two women found dead, bound, stuffed in suitcases and dumped along the road. The suspected killer has offered some details about the women.

With the point of a finger Kenosha Police say Steven Zelich claimed a Kenosha hotel off the highway is where he met up with Jenny Gamez. She was later found bound and stuffed in a suitcase.

Police are now trying to confirm his claims pulling guest book records, looking for witnesses from late 2012 and early 2013, and looking up Jenny Gamez's airline records.

Hotel managers told us Zelich's name wasn't in their records but police say records could be missing because the hotel was sold multiple times. In records CBS 58 uncovered we found the hotel changed hands three times. Surjit LLC. sold to Wisconsin Hospitality LLC. and then to current owners of Sunrise Hotel Incorporated.

It's one more claim in a bizarre case that police are still trying to unravel.
