Kenosha police seek homicide suspect considered 'armed and dangerous'

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha police continue to seek a suspect wanted in a fatal shooting that occurred near 63rd Street and 24th Avenue. 

Police say 35-year-old Stephon K. Hawthorne is wanted in connection to the homicide of Carl E. Vines, of Kenosha. Vines was found in the street with multiple gunshot wounds just after 2 a.m. on Oct. 13. 

He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died. 

Authorities say Hawthorne is considered armed and dangerous. 

If you see him, do not approach and call 911.

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating the suspect in a fatal shooting.

Officers responded to the area near 63rd Street and 24th Avenue just after 2 a.m. Oct. 13 and discovered the victim, identified as Carl Vines of Kenosha, in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. 

Police say Vines was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries. 

There are no suspects in custody at this time.
