Update: Kenosha police take barricaded suspect into custody

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine police tell CBS 58 that this barricaded suspect that surrendered yesterday, Saturday, Oct. 14 is murder suspect Cash'Juan Butler.

Racine police were looking for Cash'Juan and said he was a suspect in a homicide that happened early Saturday morning.

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha police tell CBS 58 that a suspect just surrendered around 3:30 p.m. and was taken into custody without incident.

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kenosha police tell CBS 58 that they are right now on the scene at an apartment complex near 52nd and Sheridan, where a criminal suspect has barricaded themselves.

Police say this person has a warrant out for their arrest but couldn't go into detail on what that might be for.

They say they have a tactical team set up around a perimeter.

Police are asking the public to please avoid the area.

They say the suspect is contained and there is no threat to the immediate public.
