Kenosha Police Department partners with Motorola for bodycam project

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Kenosha Police Department has announced a new partnership involving their new body camera project. 

The department announced on social media Wednesday, June 2, that Motorola will be helping out with the body camera project. 

Kenosha police started testing their body cameras in the field in April. They plan to deploy them at the end of June. 

The city's common council approved a $750,000 purchase following the outrage over the Jacob Blake shooting.
