Frosty start to Friday leads into a nice Mother's Day weekend
Lows Friday morning were chilly! A frost advisory was in effect for most of southeast Wisconsin and it was needed with lows dropping into the 30s everywhere and even some areas getting a freeze with lows around 30, 31 or 32 degrees.
We will warm fast on Friday with afternoon highs reaching the low 60s lakeside and upper 60s inland. Thankfully we don't have any more concerns for a frost or freeze for the foreseeable future with lows staying in the upper 40s to around 50 Saturday morning, a bit chilly Sunday morning in the upper 30s and low 40s then very mild in the 50s most of next week.
There will still be some lake breeze influence through Mother's Day weekend with a east to southeast wind Friday, a west wind shifting to the NE on Saturday and a SE wind on Sunday. Saturday looks like the breeziest of days.
Most of the weekend looks pretty dry but a stray sprinkle or shower cannot be ruled out for Saturday morning.
For Mother's Day itself it might be chilly early but by the time the kids have breakfast in bed ready it's around 50 with afternoon temps warming through the 60s. Lots of sunshine for Sunday and a light breeze.
