Kenosha Hunter Found after Getting Lost in Racine County

On Wednesday, November 2 at approximately 5:00 PM, Racine County Dispatch received a phone call from a from a 64-year-old man who got lost while hunting in the Hoosier Creek public hunting grounds south of Fischer Park in the Town of Burlington. 

The hunter was from Kenosha County and was hunting by himself.

Emergency officials responded to organize a search for the lost hunter. Racine County Dispatch was able direct responding personnel to the general area of the lost hunter by pinging his cell phone. Sheriff’s Deputies found the lost hunter at approximately 6:00 PM by calling out to him and using their flashlights. 

The hunter was unharmed and escorted out of the woods without incident.
