KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A local couple celebrates their 60th wedding anniversary this week.
Ron Kugel pulled out all the stops for wife Ellie at a senior living center in Kenosha.
The couple was joined by their family for a filet mignon dinner and a live violinist.
What's their secret to a long marriage? They said to never stay angry.
"We tried to never stay mad at each other. If we had a disagreement, we tried to work it out and express our love," said Ron Kugel.
The Kugels met in 1957 in Iowa. They went to a football game on their first date.
