KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) – A man is taken to the hospital after deputies say he crashed into a home while driving under the influence.

Investigators say 58-year-old Jeffrey Hinks of Paddock Lake was driving southbound on 245th Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a house around 6:30 Sunday evening in the 22000 block of 65th Street in Paddock Lake.

One person was upstairs at the time of the incident and was not hurt, although both the home and vehicle were severely damaged.

Hinks was taken to the hospital for injuries related to the crash. The Sheriff’s Office says he has been charged with his third offense operation while intoxicated as well as felony probation and parole hold. Hinks is on probation for a 2003 incident where he was charged with two counts of OWI causing death.
