NORWAY (CBS 58)--Buyers beware. A seller’s market along with a perfect pandemic might affect finding your perfect dream home. At least right now. Also, locally, home sales slumped by a reported 20 to 25 percent in May. However the experts say be patient. Realtor Jeremy Rynders with Keller Williams Realty says real estate is expected to pick up over the summer. And if you’re a seller for sure, the time is now to put the house on the market before everyone else does.
In the meantime, if you’re looking to sell your home, there are things you can do right now to increase the appeal, including de-cluttering the inside and sprucing up on the outside.
On a side note, it's interesting to mention the positive economic impact of one home sale in Wisconsin. On average, according to the National Association of Realtors, it’s a little more than $73 thousand! This includes commissions and all the extras you might spend actually moving in or out of a house.
