WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Kathy's House board members are continuing to make sure their guests feel more at home for Christmas.
On Thursday, Dec. 24, the nonprofit hospital guest house in Milwaukee delivered meals to their guests for a special Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner.
Kathy's House says their goal with the meals and lodging at the facility is to provide a sense of normalcy for guests.
"They have all the dishes, you can do your laundry here, you know, you just -- there's everything, like home," said guest Paulette Rossman. "I mean, you don't have to bring anything as far as that, you're supplied with it here."
Representatives also say their "Home for Healing" facility is being built near Froedtert Hospital.
They hope this new addition will continue to help them care for families while their loved ones are treated at nearby hospitals.
"Unfortunately, over the past few years, we've had to turn away about 600 people because we didn't have enough room to accommodate them, so we are just looking forward to opening our new facility," said Patty Metropulos, president and CEO of Kathy's House.
The building broke ground over the summer and is scheduled to open next year.
