K9 Foundation helps K9 officer in need of surgery

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee K-9 officer is expected to make a full recovery thanks to a local foundation that helps raise money for police dogs.

K-9 Rocky was injured during training and needed surgery on his ear to avoid possible hearing loss. The money couldn’t come from the Department’s budget, so the MPD K9 Foundation stepped in.

Rocky is resting and expected to make a full recovery. Police say anyone who would like to help support the K9 Foundation can do so by clicking here.
