Milwaukee (CBS 58)--It could have been worse. But it wasn't that great. Father's Day, that is. We stayed in the 50s most of the day, but at least it was dry except for a few showers. We still cannot rule out a few more showers Monday morning as another area of low pressure passes to our south. Then there's a stronger system moving in from the west that'll give us a better opportunity of scattered showers Tuesday afternoon and evening. Storms follow in the Wednesday forecast. And with the exception of Thursday, we can't seem to shake the precip from the forecast right through the first weekend of summer.
And as I mentioned on Saturday, the first day of summer arrives at 10:54 am Friday. And just in time, a little more heat and humidity. You know it's coming sooner than later even for this abnormally cool spring.
