Judge enters Not Guilty Plea for Suspects in Slender Man Case

The two 13-year-olds accused of stabbing a classmate in Waukesha were arraigned Friday morning.

A judge recently decided to try the teens as adults so they would have more control of their mental health care.

The judge entered a not guilty plea on behalf of Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier because the girls' lawyer did not file paper work. The attorney for Geyser and Weier indicated they may still appeal the decision for the girls to be tried as adults.

Geyser and Weier each face a charge of attempted first degree intentional homicide after luring a classmate into the woods, stabbing her and leaving her for dead in March 2014. The teenage suspects were trying to impress the fictional character Slender Man.

A trial date has been set for October 15th for both girls.
