Judge denies request to dismiss Shalom Wildlife countersuit against neighbors

CBS 58 WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) – A Washington County judge denied a request to dismiss Shalom Wildlife's countersuit against a group of neighbors this week.
A group of neighbors under the name "We Love Farmington" filed a lawsuit in 2025 over zoning concerns, claiming the zoo never should have been allowed to open because it wasn't following local zoning laws.
Shalom Wildlife countersued the group, saying it was an attempt to shut the zoo down, but that request was unsuccessful.
The countersuit now moves forward, with oral arguments scheduled for April 22.
