JOSH LANDON - BIO

I am thrilled to be in Milwaukee, and part of the CBS-58 news team as an Anchor/Reporter. I co-anchor the 9 p.m. newscast Monday thru Friday on our sister station, WMLW “The M”, and report for the 10 p.m. newscast on CBS 58. This move puts in the Midwest, and closer to family. Let me just get this out the way and tell you that I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan - and yes I am a LIONS fan. BUT - I do respect the Green Bay Packers and their legacy. It's all love in the NFC North!

I started my career working as a newsroom assistant at WLNS-TV6 in Lansing, Michigan during my junior year of college. Through hard work and determination, I became an on-air news reporter before I graduated from Eastern Michigan University. After working in my home State of Michigan for three years, I headed down to Florida. I worked in Fort Myers, and I also had the wonderful opportunity to freelance at WTVJ in Miami.

Before coming to Milwaukee, I worked at WRIC-TV8 in Richmond, Virginia as a reporter and fill-in anchor. While working in Richmond, I won an Regional Emmy Award for my crime series on gang activity in the City. I also won an AP award for Breaking News. Virginia was a great experience, but the Midwest is where I belong.

I've come to Milwaukee to work hard for the viewers, and become a part of the community. If you have a story you'd like me to look into, please feel to contact me. I'm here to help!
