Milwaukee County Zoo’s Wild Lights returns with expanded route
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Summerfest has a new "Official Sausage, Hot Dog, and Sausage Stick."
Johnsonville was announced during a press conference as a sponsor of Summerfest, starting with the 55th anniversary of the festival in 2023.
Part of the sponsorship will be the Johnsonville Summerville footprint, located on the North End of Henry Maier Festival Park. It is set to feature an outdoor patio-like stage area that will spotlight Wisconsin-based artists.
The area will also feature grilling demonstrations, contests, samples of new Johnsonville products, backyard games, a Johnsonville marketplace as well as other promotions.
Fans of Johnsonville will be happy to know that their brats, cheddar smoked sausages, hot dogs and chicken sausage will be for sale throughout Summerfest. They will also be featuring summer sausage snack sticks.
The festival will taek place from June 22 - 24, June 23 - July 1 and July 6 - 8.
