Jay Anderson's Family Files Notice of Injury Demanding Release of Video

The family of Jay Anderson filed a Notice of Injury document with the City of Wauwatosa Clerk’s Office.
The notice was filed on Monday morning.
The Notice of Injury provides additional information and facts regarding the case, based upon review of the video and documents seen by the family.
The family is demanding the dash camera video to be released.
Jay Anderson, Jr. was fatally shot by a police officer on June 23, 2016.
Although the City of Wauwatosa has had actual notice and been well aware of the incident and Jay Anderson, Jr.’s death, the Notice of Injury document provides formal notice to the City of Wauwatosa of a potential future claim for damages resulting from this incident.
