Janes Elementary moves to remote learning Jan. 6 due to staff shortage

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Janes Elementary school in Racine announced Wednesday evening that they will move to remote learning Thursday, Jan. 6 due to a staff shortage.

Students are asked to log onto Google Classroom virtually at the normal start time and teachers will provide remote instruction.

Students who do not have a district-provided divide should contact the school's main office at 262-664-6550 to arrange a time and date for device pickup.

The Racine Unified School District says lunch will be available for pickup at the Administrative Service Campus -- 3109 Mt. Pleasant Street -- from 11-12:30 p.m.
