He added that he though Rodgers handled the situation well.
“It’s a fair question, it’s one I’ve heard a lot,” Shewfelt told CBS 58. “Aaron handled it very well. I think he seemed to enjoy it actually.”
Shewfelt also took the opportunity to make sure people know he is not a fan of a certain team.
“People online have maybe hypothesized that I’m a Bears fan, and while I may hate myself at times, I do not hate myself enough to cheer for that franchise,” he said.
In an interview with CBS 58, Rodgers said he watched as Shewfelt wrote that answer and then had to compose himself.
“We had some fun with it,” Rodgers said.
Jeopardy! airs weekdays at 6 p.m. on CBS 58. Rodgers' two week run as guest host runs ends April 16th.
