MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee woman, identified as 32-year-old Monique Stewart, and her unborn baby were killed in a crash on Sunday near Servite Drive and Brown Deer Road. Stewart's family members are speaking out in hopes that drivers think twice before speeding.

Family said Stewart, her 8-year-old daughter Mabrey Stewart, her mother, niece and brother were on their way to an aunt's house when tragedy struck.

Mabrey Stewart said everything happened in a flash.

"All I remember was when my leg got stuck in the seat," said Mabrey Stewart.

Surveillance video from a nearby business captured the moments a white Chevy Equinox slammed into the car containing the Stewart family. Investigators said the Equinox was driving at 100 miles per hour.

The 8-year-old is left with a broken ankle, her grandmother in the hospital, a cousin and uncle injured, and left without a mother and her baby brother.

Stewart was seven months pregnant. Milwaukee police said her son, named B.J., was delivered and later died at the hospital.

"I got to hold my nephew. Man, he was so precious," said Marcus Stewart, brother of the victim.

Marcus Stewart and his brothers said Monique was looking forward to becoming a mom of two and said they're grateful for the short time they had with B.J.

B.J. and Monique will now live on through pictures and memories.

"It's something that we can't imagine, it just doesn't feel real. The family is shooken up," said Marquis Stewart, brother of Monique Stewart.

Police said an 18-year-old was taken into custody. Marquis Stewart has a message to everyone getting behind the wheel.

"Think about other people's lives, not just your own, when you're driving. Also, you got to know that when things do happen, it's not only affecting your life but other people's life," said Stewart.

The family has created a GoFundMe for funeral and burial expenses. You can find it here.
