Investigation underway following death of 70-year-old man in Walworth County

CBS 58 WALWORTH COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A death investigation is underway after a 70-year-old man was found dead in the Village of Bloomfield Saturday, Sept. 27.
Law enforcement officials responded to the scene just before 10 p.m. for reports of a man shot in the chest.
According to the Walworth County Sheriff's Office, lifesaving efforts were attempted but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
They say there is no further threat to the community.
An investigation is ongoing.
