Investigation into missing woman leads to drug arrest

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police have confirmed their investigation into disappearance of 27-year-old Kelly Dwyer has led to the arrest of a 38-year-old man on unrelated drug charges. 

Dwyer's family and friends have told CBS58 that she was out at bars on the east side on Thursday night, October 10.  They also say Kelly left her boyfriends home and either walked or took a taxi to her place near Brady and Humboldt.

Kelly's mother Maureen Dwyer said, \"You see these things on the news and it's hard, because it's not happening to you. When it happens to you, you say 'This doesn't happen in real life.' Its the most awful, incredibly terrible thing anyone can ever go through.\"

Since Kelly's disappearance, friends and family members have been posting fliers trying to find answers.
