Milwaukee - A psychotherapist with R.E.A.C.H, Inc. explains how websites like creepy-pasta.wiki can influence a child's mind. Candice Lipski says these kinds of websites are inviting because they don't display any visual dangers. However, the stories of urban legends can influence a child's mind, and cause them to believe the fictional stories are real.
Lipski says parents must monitor their child's activity on the internet, and know exactly what their child is reading online. Lipski says some of the warning signs include a child who is isolated, neglects school work, and other responsibilities.
