MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's almost six months since ground was broken for Milwaukee's Couture high rise complex at the lakefront, and the developer said Monday, Dec. 13, they're making "incredible progress."
Drone pictures show the recent work on the apartment and retail building on the east end of Michigan Street, and according to their statement, crews have reached the "bottom of the hole."
The next step will be driving the piles and then a tower crane will be built in early 2022 as the tower begins its ascent this summer.
Once the work is done, the 44-story Couture will be Milwaukee's fourth tallest building.
