Inconsistent computer models are making for a Christmas forecast challenge

Milwaukee (CBS 58)--Three days out and still figuring it all out.  Will we get a White Christmas?  (My thought is probably not.) Computer models are still varying, even the preferred Euro model.  Now it's saying the northern third of the viewing area could get a half of an inch of snow throughout the day.  And the rest of the region, including the metro, could see a wintry mix of snow and rain, reducing amounts.  At least according to this particular run of the Euro, most of the action should be later in the morning and afternoon.

The CBS 58 Ready Weather team is still hashing out all the details.  So keeping checking back here online and on air.

Meanwhile, a few upper air systems could trigger a few flurries through Sunday afternoon.  Christmas Eve looks dry and sunny with highs in the 30s and lows in the 20s.  Bottom line is no major weather woes for the next few days.  Don't forget to download the free CBS 58 weather app for when the weather gets more active this winter.
