Milwaukee named the best city for creatives, report says
Local teens got a jump start on their future, exploring career opportunities while at the new Milwaukee Bucks training facility.
They toured the sports science center within the Froedtert and Medical College of Wisconsin.
The teens learned about different jobs there from community relations to marketing. It was all part of Mayor Barrett's 'Earn and Learn' program for young people where they get some pay while gaining even more valuable experience.
"It's always been a dream to see how the Bucks are and to join them and see some of the players. I got to meet the Mayor so I'm really inspired," said Raziel Posey.
Earn & Learn is a joint project by Employ Milwaukee and the Milwaukee Department of City Development.
