Hunger Task Force Holding Peanut Butter Drive

The Hunger Task Force is putting out the call for peanut butter.

The food bank's 5th annual peanut butter collection campaign kicked off today at the Meijer store in Wauwatosa.

Peanut butter has a long shelf life, and provides important nutrition to those in need.

The goal is to collect 30,000 jars.

Milwaukee fire stations and some other surrounding fire departments are taking part in the peanut butter drive.

You can also make a donation by dropping jars of peanut butter in the blue bins at fire stations in Milwaukee and the surrounding suburbs.

The peanut butter drive lasts through march third.
