MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hundreds of MPS students were given the opportunity to land a summer job at a UWM job fair.
"Those communication skills, building their self-confidence, that's all important especially when it comes to life after high school and this is a perfect way to start," said Tamera Coleman, Internship Coordinator with MPS.
Roughly 75 employees from around the area were at the UWM campus to speak with high school students about employment opportunities. This is the second year for the job fair, last year 200 kids came away with a job offer.
