Milwaukee Fire Department highlights challenges for first responders
MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Hundreds of local teachers are helping young people on their educational journey.
M-Cubed is made up of teachers from Milwaukee Public Schools, MATC, and UWM. On Friday, they gathered downtown hoping to transform the future of Milwaukee through education.
"The importance of all of this is making sure that students are able to transition very smoothly from a high school to a college setting," said Ruth Maegli, MPS Chief Academic Officer.
The teachers exchanged ideas at three different MATC campuses -- downtown, Mequon, and Oak Creek.
