MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Hundreds gathered in downtown Milwaukee to protest President Trump's removal of Sessions.
A group called 'Rapid Response' organized the 'Nobody is Above the Law - Mueller Protection Rally' in cities around Wisconsin.
Protesters say Sessions' removal will likely speed up the decision to fire Mueller and end the special investigation into the 2016 election.
"He requested the resignation of the Attorney General who I don't agree with on much , but I agreed on his refusal and put somebody in who has openly stated that the Mueller investigation may be a witch hunt," said Ray Gingerich, a protester.
There were four similar rallies around Wisconsin on Thursday night.
